About

Hi, I’m Nick. You know that feeling when you want to go somewhere different, somewhere wild and a little outside the ordinary — but the reality of planning it feels rather less exciting?

Finding the right destination. Working out who to trust. Figuring out what’s actually worth doing. Making sure all the pieces fit together.

I understand that feeling because I’ve been on both sides of the process. I’ve travelled, guided and planned these kinds of adventures myself — and I know that the difference between a good trip and a great one often comes down to the details.

That’s why I created Wildbound Adventures.

I’ve always been drawn to places that feel a little further from the everyday.

Over the years, that curiosity has taken me hiking, climbing high peaks and diving into cold, wild water across different parts of the world.

My path eventually led me into the travel industry. Beyond working for a South American tour operator, I’ve guided excursions across Peru as well as the UK, and have also lived in Ecuador, Spain, France, Italy, and South Africa.

Immersing myself in different cultures taught me something you simply can’t get from a brochure:

The best way to understand a place is to experience it.

To look beyond the obvious destinations and recognise the details that can make a journey genuinely special.

The more I travelled, the more I realised that plenty of people wanted this kind of experience — but didn’t necessarily know how to find it.

They weren’t looking for a backpacking trip or a package holiday.

They wanted something different. Something personal. Something that felt like their adventure.

But they also wanted to know that someone had thought it through properly.

That’s where Wildbound comes in.

I combine the freedom and excitement of adventure travel with the reassurance of having someone experienced behind the scenes. I listen to what you’re actually looking for, draw on my experience and connections, and find the right people and places to make it happen.

I personally vouch for the companies and people I recommend, including trusted suppliers often based in the destinations themselves. That means you get the benefit of local knowledge and carefully chosen experiences, without having to spend weeks figuring it all out yourself.

I spent some time studying conservation because I love the natural world, but it was my time in teaching that really taught me how to listen, figure out what people need, and make complicated things feel simple.

The result is a trip that feels adventurous, personal and thoughtfully put together.

Life can become very organised. Work, emails, deadlines, routines.

Adventure offers a chance to step outside all of that.

Being somewhere unfamiliar — surrounded by nature, challenge and new experiences — can reconnect you with the curious, adventurous part of yourself that everyday life doesn’t always leave much room for.

That’s what I want Wildbound trips to create.

Not just great holidays, but experiences that leave you feeling more alive, more connected and more like yourself.

You might be travelling solo, with a partner, with friends or with family. You might want to trek through the mountains, explore somewhere culturally fascinating, get closer to wildlife or simply find somewhere beautiful to switch off.

What matters is that you want to travel differently.

You bring the curiosity. I’ll bring the experience, connections and organisation.

You don’t need to have a destination in mind. You don’t even need to know exactly what kind of trip you want.

If you have a feeling that you’d like to do something a little different, let’s start there.
